GlassPrint LIVE to Examine Glass Decoration at glasstec 2026
06 October 2026: GlassPrint LIVE will examine glass decoration trends at glasstec 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Tuesday, 20 October 2026. The 16:45-17:30 session in Hall 10 will pair market analysis with a glass packaging producer’s perspective, giving manufacturers, decorators and printers a focused look at value-added decoration.
The venue is Stage 1, glass trends live, in Hall 10, A10. The wider trade fair runs on 20-23 October 2026; Screen Print India’s glasstec 2026 preview provides background on its programme.
GlassPrint LIVE programme and speakers
According to glasstec’s programme announcement, Oliver Kammann of K-Flow Consulting GmbH will present “Glass container decoration: trends and perspectives”. His presentation will review the sector and the factors influencing its market.
Fredrik Källqvist of Ardagh Glass Europe will follow with “Value-added decoration – clearly delivered”, offering a glass packaging producer’s perspective on decoration.
The official session overview places the discussion across architectural, automotive and hollow-glass applications, rather than container decoration alone. It describes glass finishing as a way to create functional surfaces, decorative designs and branded products.
The agenda includes developments in digital and screen printing, alongside questions about quality, production efficiency and more sustainable processes. The organiser aims the session at glass manufacturers and processors as well as decorators, printers and technology providers.
Glass printing suppliers in Hall 12
Visitors can meet suppliers in the ESMA Pavilion in Hall 12, booth G32. For related materials coverage, Screen Print India’s Pröll glass printing inks preview describes the company’s planned appearance at the same fair.
GlassPrint LIVE is a conference session, while the ESMA Pavilion provides the supplier exhibition element. Visitors interested in both can use the talks for market context and then discuss printing materials or equipment with exhibitors. The activities take place in different halls, so a visit to the pavilion requires a separate stop in Hall 12.
GlassPrint 2027 dates and venue
GlassPrint LIVE will also serve as the launch platform for GlassPrint 2027, which returns to Düsseldorf on 30 November-1 December 2027. ESMA and industry expert Dave Fordham jointly organise the two-day conference and exhibition, with support from glasstec. GlassPrint 2027 is a separate event, not an extension of the four-day glasstec 2026 trade fair.
The GlassPrint website lists the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Düsseldorf as the conference venue. The organisers are collecting expressions of interest for speaking and exhibiting slots for the 10th edition, giving prospective contributors a route to take part in the 2027 programme.
The event combines conference presentations with a tabletop exhibition, a format also documented in GlassPrint 2023 coverage.
