hubergroup Plans iray Dual Cure Display at LOUPE India 2026
27 October 2026: hubergroup Print Solutions plans to present iray Dual Cure UV flexo inks at LOUPE India 2026, scheduled for 29 October to 1 November at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Its pre-show announcement focuses on helping label converters use one ink system with conventional mercury UV lamps and LED UV equipment.
The official LOUPE India website confirms the event dates and venue. The organiser’s exhibitor directory lists Hubergroup India Pvt. Ltd. at stand L24, independently confirming its participation.
The company’s label-ink portfolio also featured in its separate plans for the Americas edition. Screen Print India’s coverage of hubergroup’s LOUPE Americas plans provides background on that regional offering; it does not establish the full product selection for India.
What iray Dual Cure offers label converters
According to the India announcement, iray Dual Cure targets pressure-sensitive and premium labels, with compatibility across conventional UV and LED UV production environments. hubergroup says the system offers high gloss, strong colours, resistance properties and adhesion across different label substrates.
The company’s official iray product information describes a wider UV flexo family that includes inks, varnishes, primers and adhesives for narrow- and mid-web printing. It identifies mercury UV and LED UV curing systems, and cites scratch resistance, adhesion and fast printing among the range’s properties. These are manufacturer claims, rather than independent test findings.
The wider iray family includes food-packaging products, but that does not mean every ink in the range suits the same application. hubergroup’s catalogue identifies low-migration and low-odour products; converters handling food labels should ask which exact grade and end-use conditions apply to their job.
One ink system across mercury UV and LED UV
The practical appeal of dual curing is continuity: converters can assess a common ink system for presses using different lamp technologies, rather than treating a curing-equipment change as an automatic reason to change ink families. The India announcement presents this flexibility as a way to support future equipment decisions.
However, dual-cure compatibility does not by itself establish the electricity saving from a particular installation. The announcement gives no measured energy reduction or comparative figures for its claims about lower start-up waste, fewer interruptions and fewer reprints.
The flexo focus also differs from hubergroup’s low-tack UV offset inks. Converters comparing the company’s ranges should keep the printing process distinct from the curing method when discussing product suitability.
Technical support and stand discussions
hubergroup says visitors will be able to discuss substrates, application requirements and production challenges with its specialists. Its published iray information also describes local expert support during product implementation and for subsequent technical questions.
For converters considering a changeover, useful questions include which ink grade matches the intended label material, how it performs under the installed lamps, and what press-trial evidence supports the proposed application. The announcement does not provide a substrate-by-substrate approval list or operating settings, so the broad compatibility claim should not replace an application-specific discussion.
