Mimaki 3D Prints Artist-Designed Golf Bag Collectibles for LIV Golf
21 August 2026: Mimaki has produced limited-edition, artist-designed miniature golf bags for Cleeks Golf Club’s Art of Golf programme during the 2026 LIV Golf season. Announced on 6 July 2026, the project uses full-colour 3D printing to reproduce the artwork, form and texture of players’ bags as saleable collectibles.
How Mimaki 3D printed golf bags reproduce the original artwork
According to Mimaki Europe’s project announcement, the series covers 14 designs by artists connected with countries and regions on the tournament schedule, including Korea, Mexico, Singapore and the United States. Cleeks players use the full-size Art of Golf bags during competition, while the replicas give fans a smaller version of each design.
Mimaki says each miniature measures about 15 cm and comes off its 3DUJ-553 full-colour 3D printer as one piece, so it needs neither assembly nor hand-painting. The process is meant to retain small details, surface textures and colour changes that would be awkward to reproduce consistently in a short production run.
The printer uses UV-curable ink and water-soluble support material. Mimaki lists a 500 × 500 × 300 mm build area and layer settings of 20, 32 or 42 microns. The manufacturer also says the machine can print more than 10 million colours with ICC profiling, though that figure and its “world’s first” description remain manufacturer claims.

For printers, the project is a practical example of digital production serving a narrow, design-heavy run. Printing the object and its colour together lets the producer change artwork between editions without building a new decoration line for every bag.

Where can fans see the Art of Golf replicas ?
Mimaki’s 6 July announcement listed several summer events and said the miniatures would be sold during the season. That timetable is now partly stale. The official LIV Golf schedule, checked on 20 August 2026, lists Indianapolis at The Club at Chatham Hills from 20 to 23 August as the season finale. It no longer lists the previously announced Michigan event for 27 to 30 August.
Availability may therefore differ from Mimaki’s original release. Fans planning to buy or view a design should check the current event listing rather than rely on the July itinerary.
