Khushi Kapoor and Cava Launch Soft Serve Athleisure Collection

04 September 2026: The Khushi Kapoor Cava collection Soft Serve went on sale on 1 September 2026. Khushi Kapoor and Bengaluru brand Cava Athleisure co-designed the athleisure line for workouts and daily wear, with Kapoor shaping silhouettes, colours and fit. The drop is live on Cava’s Soft Serve page as a wardrobe she helped specify, not only endorse.

How the Khushi Kapoor Cava collection took shape

A Bengaluru release carried by PR Newswire on 2 September 2026 said Kapoor stayed in the process through conversations, sampling and fittings. She wanted clothes that hold up in motion and still look finished later in the day, with comfort, a flattering cut and small details instead of loud branding.

Cava Athleisure, founded in 2020 by sisters Ria Mittal and Shreya Mittal, calls that method Adaptive Athleisure: pieces meant to move from training into ordinary plans. The same gym-and-street bet now sits inside a wider sportswear and athleisure market, where stretch fabrics have pulled performance clothing into daily wear.

Other Indian labels are selling that idea too. TechnoSport’s MILLENOVA range is a recent activewear drop aimed at training and ordinary days, not a single sport.

“I’ve always wanted my wardrobe to feel effortless, but that doesn’t mean compromising on how a piece fits, feels or functions. With Soft Serve, I got to take all the things I naturally gravitate towards and build them into a collection that feels genuinely personal to me,” Kapoor said.

What Cava says the collection stands for

Cava built the drop around a line it repeated in the release: “Soft does not mean Weak.” The brand says Soft Serve borrows yin-and-yang thinking, setting softness beside strength and comfort beside performance. That is Cava’s framing, not a lab result.

Ria Mittal, co-founder, said Kapoor arrived knowing how she wanted the collection to feel and cared about fit and movement, not only how a piece looked.

“Soft Serve really captures that balance we both believe in. You can be soft and still be incredibly driven. You can care about aesthetics and be equally obsessed with functionality,” Mittal said.

Shreya Mittal, also co-founder, said Cava has long mixed a highly visual world with a hard focus on product and performance, and that Kapoor’s style mapped onto that mix. Soft Serve is a celebrity co-design, closer in type to other sportswear fashion collaborations than to a poster-only endorsement.
